Thumbs Down For The Black Bathrobes

Allegations that the U.S. Supreme Court is politicized are nearly as old as the court itself, but the lengths to which the conservative and right-wing justices have gone to politicize their roles in the age of Bush is unprecedented in modern history.

It therefore comes as no surprise that a public that gives its president approval ratings in the low- to mid-20th percentile and Congress even lower ratings, can barely muster a 31 percent approval rating for the men (and woman) in the black bathrobes and some 60 percent believe that the justices have their own political agendas, according to a new poll.
