Sptizer: Another Bush Political Prosecution

It took a few days for the truth to out, but there is now no doubt that the outting of New York Governor Eliot Spitzer was yet another Bush administration political prosecution.
This does not forgive Spitzer's hypocrisy, but speaks volumes about our Justice Department and Attorney General Mukasey, whose dirty hands are all over this one.
The best accounts to date are in The New York Times and The New Republic, while the New York Daily News focuses on the trigger man.

But I'm willing to bet the ranch that we're only a few news cycles away from the veritable smoking gun -- hard proof that extraordinary resources were arrayed against Spitzer because he was a pain in the Republican and Wall Street ass.
