Kate Blanchette and Kneecapping Ibsen

A rave theater review can be a thing of beauty, but a scathing review is something really special. The New York Times' Charles Isherwood uses a full arsenal of negatives in reviewing Kate Blanchette and the Sydney Theater Company, whom he states:
Merrily desecrate Ibsen's "Hedda Gabler" before an audience that didn't seem to notice (or care) that a classic play was being publicly kneecapped.
Ooch! Ouch!
